The Intoxicating Pheromone Of Enchantress Bends Men To Their Knees, So How Will Ariella Recognize Her Mate When So Many Men Are Powerless To Resist?

Book Description

Witches Academy graduate Ariella Cappella needs to find her one and only mate before her next birthday. Now that the time has come, Ariella has only been provided with one single clue by the family matriarch; he resides in the town of Crystal Rock, Wisconsin.

Unfortunately, the intoxicating pheromone of Enchantress bends men to their knees, so how will she ever recognize her mate when so many men are powerless to resist?

FBI Agent Birch Delveaux has always avoided beautiful woman. But when he meets the mysterious Ariella Capella while trying to solve a murder, he’s instantly drawn to her, despite learning that Ariella was acquainted with the victim.

Ariella has less than a year to uncover her mate’s identity, because if she fails to consummate the relationship before her twenty-sixth birthday, she’ll lose all her powers.

Although she immediately senses she’s met her match, she refuses to believe that the rude and arrogant Birch Delveaux is the man she’s supposed to share her life with – he’s accused her of murder! While working together to solve the crime, Ariella begins to see the real man beneath the gruff façade.

But little do they know, there’s a dark force at work, who’s trying to alter Ariella’s fate. Can they discover who’s responsible for trying to alter their destiny?

The latest in one of my favorite series: The Uncharted. Escape to a land unknown.

Book Description

Naomi McIntosh is running from her family’s oppressive expectations and the loathsome man her father has demanded she marry. Renaming herself to live incognito, she takes a housekeeping job at the Inn at Falls Creek and promises God this false identity will be her last.

When shepherd James Roberts goes home to the Inn at Falls Creek for his sister’s wedding, he doesn’t expect the woman who once broke his heart to be working there. No matter how much he wants to be with Naomi again, he can’t go along with her charade, especially since he is trying to persuade his father to make him the inn’s heir.

Though Naomi yearns for a future with James, if she confesses her deception to everyone, her estranged fiancé will find her. And the longer James goes without telling his family the truth about Naomi—and their growing relationship—the further he jeopardizes the inheritance. But just when their relationship looks promising, the inn proves to be a poor hiding place from Naomi’s past.

Meanwhile, in Good Springs…
Connor Bradshaw wrestles with the overseers’ decision to preserve the Land’s pacifist ways. His desire to build a defense system for the Land keeps him up at night, secretly scanning for radio transmissions from the warring outside world. His training to be a village overseer will require him to lay down his weapons, but a voice over the radio waves ignites his worst fears.

AlzAuthors Launches a Podcast

I’m thrilled to announce the launch of AlzAuthors new podcast, UNTANGLING ALZHEIMER’S AND DEMENTIA, on the Whole Care Network today.

I’m the producer and host of this passion project. I’m also a founding member and director of AlzAuthors, the global non-profit that seeks to eliminate the silence and stigma surrounding a dementia diagnosis.

The podcast has been in the works for many months. We’re grateful for the guidance and support we’ve received from Chris MacLellan, founder of the Whole Care Network, who nurtured our dream of bringing our authors’ stories to caregivers in this new format.

About AlzAuthors

AlzAuthors is the global community of authors writing about Alzheimer’s and dementia from personal experience. Our mission is to use the art of storytelling to help light the way for others currently on that journey. Each member of our all-volunteer team has witnessed the decline or loss of a loved one with dementia. Together we provide a gateway to quality resources written by those who understand the challenges they face.

Since 2016, AlzAuthors has shared its authors’ dementia stories on our blog and in our anthologies. Why the move to audio?

About the Podcast

The podcast format makes it easier for busy caregivers and those concerned with dementia to learn about the disease and seek much needed guidance. Listening to a podcast does not require sitting in one place. We can listen while in the car, doing housework, anytime, hands free. We hope that by sharing our authors’ stories in this way we are better able to reach those who have little free time but are in desperate need of knowledge, comfort, and support.

With more than 250 author contributors, AlzAuthors has a wealth of knowledge to share. We’ve curated hundreds of powerful and profound stories, spanning all disease types and stages through a variety of genres, including memoirs, non-fiction, novels, children’s literature, activity books, poetry, blogs, and more. Each week a new author shares their dementia story and discusses their book.

The authors’ backgrounds are diverse, and their situations vary. They may be living with the disease themselves, are a caregiver for a loved one at home or in a facility, or may be a healthcare professional specializing in dementia or memory care. Each one wrote a book to help others and was selected to become an AlzAuthor after careful vetting by a member of our management team. Their personal stories offer valuable insight often told through laughter and sometimes tears.

Podcast Schedule

The first season of six episodes kicks off with Wendy Mitchell, bestselling author of the memoir Somebody I Used to Know, who describes her experience living with young-onset dementia.
